Cute - never played that kind of poker. I like double pinoccle that's for sure. This is really a cute poem about games. "Knobby knees" - ha - the naked body is not all that appealing.

Quite limerickish despite the feminine ends, and should do well in the contest, and certainly fulfills the rather slack requirements of the prompt...excellent entry.

There was quite a brouhaha about limerick syllables a while ago, so I think that's why the looser requirements for this type of poem. I, for one, think this makes way more sense.

LOL, well, this is a fun limerick, and exactly what the format itself calls for (in my Irish-roots mind). That's also one heckuva card game, and an entertaining way to spend an evening (knobby knees or not! LOL)
