Yes Satan told the first lie but it was Eva that believed him had she not listened to him or Adamo ...had he told Eva to shut up they would have not lost themselves ..
God created Adamo and Eva and he gave them also free will because he wanted us to be free to choose ..
When they sinned they were sent out of the Garden of Eden ..this world is of Satan and God permits the Devil to tempt and corrupted us because he wants to make a point : without him we can not rule ourselves in peace . harmony and love which is what Eva and Adamo thought they could do once they ate from the tree of knowledge.
They thought they didn't need god's guidance .. God is proving that without him we will destroy our planet and ourselves with it.

I like this post. It's kind of like which came first, the chicken or the egg? LOL But I'll take a shot at it. Satan told the first lie because he told Eve she could eat from the tree and would not die. That's my story and I'm stickin' with it!

HELLO RSPOET: I love you. I love your question. God put Lucifer here on earth not to create havoc. But for us to rule over him and subdue him. "Fill the earth(with people) and subdue it," remember? "Have dominion over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth." Last time I checked...all serpents are creepy. rspoet...if God had put Satan on Pluto that would not have settled the issue as to Satan's accusation of God's selfishness toward us. Part of his lie was that God was trying to hide something good from us. He knew that, that way...if God iced him on Pluto, people would ask: "Hey, God...why did you get rid of Satan?" Clever huh? But not as clever as you and me. God gave us the power to subdue Satan. Come. Let's do it. God bless you, rspoet. Cordially: rhonnie69.
