This twenty-five-syllable poem, Somewhere Barefoot, has the required syllable count and sends us back to the tiny. tender feet that crossed pavement and sand like hot coals.

The sea shore can cure my every ailment and lift every emotion...they really were magical days and you get my vote for taking me back! Oh, to find some beach glass, stare at the waves...perfect joy!--Karenina

Poet remembers those childhood days when he enjoyed, excited, magically to walk barefoot simple ways, even in summer; well said, well done. Write to inspire, readable for years -- DR ALCREATOR

This poem is evocative. I like the image of sticking your toes in the sand and walking back to your childhood. It's wonderful and effective. If only summers were endless.
