It's just as good as the first time I've read it, perhaps better. I love the way that the flower speaks to the bee letting it know who is in charge. I love this yet again. Well done!

Wow -- your comments are just wonderful to hear this morning, Jeffrey -- I had a little fun with this one so, I'm glad you took it in the good humor in which it was written. :) ;) Thanx for taking the time and have a great weekend, sir! ;) ;) Yvette

This stacked 5-7-5 suite, A Carnal Victory, has the proper formatting and finds that randy bee getting Miss Blossoms 'essence' all over him. Now he'll slag to the next blushing bloom and have a go. The jokes on him, I guess.

If those Helicopter Parents of yours get wind of this, Yvette - that cross-pollination is actually an act of shameless hussy-ness- all Biology textbooks will be confiscated and replaced with ones containing kinder, far more wholesome concepts! Their babies cannot be exposed to such a tawdry display as bees covered in the essence of multiple nectar. Tsk, tsk, tsk!!
VERY cool and unique slant here!! I love it. xo

You are so very funny, Rachelle... you actually managed to crack the first big smile on my face for the morning, and you know what that means? That I'll be able to relax more and not be uptight about driving my brother around (and knowing I've got finals here at home waiting for me to grade them - lol!). Thank you, my wonderful special long-distance friend ... you are certainly a gift! :) ;) Thank you and have a great day, Beautiful Lady!! :) :) Yvette

I believe this one was the winner. The seductive personification and flow created a vivid image of sexual intent and conquest. Bravo you, judester

Oh, Judester! I do so apologize for not responding before now, but thank you so very much for these lovely stars, ma'am -- your wonderful comments really put a positive vein into an otherwise crazy week! So glad my 'fun flower innuendos' played out with you as I had hoped they would with readers! ;) :) **My apologies -- behind again! I actually managed to post but not anything else this week! :( Final exams dominated life (taking a break from grading this morning) and the weekend of ?moving sons? is gonna be BUSY!! :) :) LOL! Take good care and have a great weekend yourself! ;) Yvette

This is terrific! Your poem puts the act of pollination into the realm of sensual enticement and fulfilment, assurance of the continuation of your kind. A wonderful stack featuring sweet success.

a very beautiful picture. A short, simple yet beautifully written first stanza. a beautifully written and rather sexy first paragraph. A great third stanza. You have done great, in a way this remind me of sex, flower-sex.

Your point is well-articulated, but the bee cares not, and will answer Mother Nature's requirements as instructed (praiseworthy stack notwithstanding).
Good luck in the contest.

Oh, Chrissy, you just made my entire week, ma'am!! :) Life's been so busy I've not had much time, if any, for my writing and to see those lovely stars and wonderful comments on the time I allotted myself today, is just the best sunshine-smile ever!! :) ;) Thank you! ;)

Your last line made your poem seem ominous to me. It reminded me of the last line of a horror story that is to be continued. Good luck in the contest.

This is a very nice play on words making a rather sensual and seductive monologue after the deed is done. This is reminiscent of an adolescent getting the story about the birds and the bees. Best wishes.
