Hi Alicia. I think you've got me hooked on pictorals now that I've read two of yours. This one does have a little bit of an ominous air to it, but I like that aspect of it--sort of mysterious. Nicely done. Marilyn

Thank you for sharing your vivid, pictoral poem and the reinforcing picture. I relished your adding the drama with the appeal to our sense of hearing. Cheers- Joan

Comment from Treischel
I liked the turn. The thought of the mirrored image is what carried you to Snow White's evil witch. Then the wind carried you to the bells. I liked the poem, although as a pictoral poem you could have stuck to the image more, describing the waterfalls, the cedar siding, the covered bridge, the leaf strewn grass, the wooded surroundings, and certainly the waterwheel. So, as a pictoral, I had to assign only a 4. Sorry.

You are describing a magical place here, I love chiming bells and have some on my balcony, but I expect it is the leaves that you can hear in the breeze, an atmospheric write, love Dolly x

I enjoyed your poem, the imagery is powerful and vivid, especially at the end with the twigs and branches and the church bell. Thanks for sharing this and have yourself a really great day

This is quite lovely! Mirror images aren't all evil! You've written a beautiful piece. It flows well and nothing is jarring. I like the spookiness very much!
