A clever little Nonet that highlights some stellar cowboy attributes like strong bodies that work hard and eat good meals. Nicely formed and performed. BTW, congrats on your degrees.

Oh, everybody loves cowboys. The rugged, straightforward, straight-talking male that we equate with building things, being polite, and honest. I'm glad you're home safe and sound, Alicia. Marilyn

Glad you got home safely, Alicia!
I do like your cowboy poem as you cover some hard realities about takeovers and reforms but it ends with a gratefulness for health and food.

Welcome back! I did not know you referred to yourself as a cowboy--maybe, there are more of you-all in Florida!! I enjoyed your use of the Triolet form and the vivid artwork. Here's to "abstract dreams" and best wishes catching up- Joan

Hi Joan! FanArtReview has a cowboy contest. My dad loves westerns. I watched plenty of them in Miami with him. Everybody's into cowboys and indians. This was a nonet poem. Thank you. Hugs, Alicia :)

Sorry--I meant Nonet. I used to watch cowboys and Indians with my dad when I was a kid. Hi, ho Silver! -Joan

Hello Sunnilicious,
The cowboy life isn't what it used to be, that's for sure.
I like your Nonet poem about cowboy talk.
Those strong bodies are still key.
Interesting art work to match
Well done
Robert

This nonet poem, Cowboy Talk, has the proper descending nine-to-one syllable formatting and seeks to explain in a few words the idea being a cowboy today.

This was a good write, sunnilicious. You captured a lot of truth about cowboys in this piece. I think the form was a good one to use for it as well. Good job.
