An idea comes to life, teases, disappears.8 total reviews

Well, you did a great job breathing life into this one. You really made the most of describing how an idea has a life of its own, and it needs to be nurtured and molded into the right shape to be presented. Thanks also for the book suggestion.

Concepts that manage to elude us and return to tease us again before we are ready to properly capture them. Great writing about the subject matter and detailed nicely. You did justice to this writing prompt. Good Luck in the contest and may God Bless you.

I love this writing, I love the creativity behind the writing and I love the graphic you've chosen. I could easily be that child in the pic. Unfortunately, the child would need some gray hair, a sagging body and be very unsteady on that ladder. :) A fun read and I will definitely be looking for that book to add to my library. Thanks so much for sharing this inspirational read.

Your piece on flights of fantasy actually touches on a reality that beleaguers all creative people. It is so hard to catch them - like falling stars. But when you do catch that special one, then the creative process begtins.
They come to life in writers' hands and with an artist's palette,
through dancers' steps, musicians' skill and with a sculptor's mallet.
Great entry. I enjoyed the read. Flowed smoothly and naturally. Thanks for sharing these sentiments.

You captured a flight of fantasy here, those flitting thoughts we wish for and hope will come true, what we want to hold onto before it slips away! You captured the moment here in your poem, loving the repeated verses too, love Dolly x
