This is lovely quatrain and photo art, too. It makes me feel like I could walk into eternity. How beautiful this is.
I just realized that for some reason, yet again, I am not being alerted to your posts. What gives? I have fanned you repeatedly. I will do it again right now. I have already missed so much!
All my best,

No, most of these were contest writes so you're probably still in the good.... I don't have a whole lot of time over the next few weeks and the contests are usually a quick write that I didn't have to think up the topic for (but i still get my writing stress relief - lol!). :) ;) in the next few minutes I'll be posting my 5-7-5 that I wrote last week before the madness that is these next few weeks began.... so if it's not there in the morning in your message box, then you should worry! ;) :) LOL! Take care, Beautiful Lady Sal!! :) ;) Yvette

A very well-written quatrain with an encouraging message to set our goals just beyond the horizon and never stop until we reached our goals.

Well penned wisdom. Few words give a valuable insight we need in all situations. The art work is inviting stepping back from self... and considering that there is a bigger picture.

Setting goals to strive towards is good as long as we don't get caught up in accomplishing them at the cost of hurting others. Thank you for Sharing your Gifts and insight, Good Luck in the contest and may if entered. Blessings to you.

I love the image of "The Finish Line." It is lovely and is well suited for this piece. I love the message and theme, of all of us aiming ourselves, toward the "finish line..." My favorite lines are the third and fourth ones. I especially like the phrase "see the horizon as your finish line..." One never truly reaches the end. It is always ahead on the horizon. As you say, in the line above the title, "the journey continues..." Well written with an excellent message.
Take care, Jesse

This is full of truth, about how we tend to run our days, trying to handle burdens, when we need to look at them as steps to the finish line, which is on the horizon, It reminds me of the saying, :Keep your mind on the prize." Very well said, and if I had another six, you would get it:)

Comment from Gloria ....
This is a fantastic entry into the contest. Each aspect of your presentation works in the concert with the rest and yet the poem stands alone as fine wisdom.
Wishing you much luck in the voting booth.
