Congrats on Third Place! ;) ;) What a great project -- to make your own syrup.... only thing I've done that comes close is making my own 'syrup' with sugar/water/flavorings when the boys were young!! ;) ;) This was a wonderful and mouth-watering entry for the contest, Judester -- so glad you joined us in our pursuit of poetry yumminess! ;) ;) Y.M. :)

Hey, we Hoosiers like our maple syrup, too. Every spring, Parke County, Indiana, has a Maple Sugar Festival, and there are some farms that produce the tasty stuff. I love your 5-7-5 suite. You have the format correct and have included rhyme that makes sense. We had snow ice cream, but never used maple syrup with it. Love maple syrup on waffles.
