Great art and usage of only eight words. Great job! I just did a six word poem, and these super short ones are no small feat. My best to you on this one, and in the contest. I hope I get to vote. :+))

Oh, so glad you like this one -- the shorter they are the more challenging I think .... and thus my 'stress relief' I alludeded to in my other response..... who needs a punching bag when you've got to make people think or really feel something in only a few words!! ;);) LOL! ;) Thanx, Lady Sal! ;) Yvette

This really made me think! How we perceive things is our reality and I love how you connected it with music and dancing! Great picture, so artistic and visually intriguing! I just think you did a great job between the picture and the words you used to express how we look at things. Good luck with the contest!

I love the phrase, "reality dances" because it isn't static or stationary, it dances to and fro, with the whims of a person's perception. I like the metaphors of music and dance to explain perception. The artwork is wild and suitable for framing. It fits this poem like a hand in glove. The presentation is wonderful, with bright colors in a black background. Thank you for sharing your perception of perception.
Take care, Jesse

    Thanks Yvette
It's always nice to be appreciated.
Up here, the weather's been great, with sunny warm days and cool spring nights. What sort of craziness is going on down there?
My sweet companion is making the best of our time together. Thanks for your concern.

A very well-written eight-word poem about the each person's perception about what they hear or see will determine how they look at things and what there knowledge is of certain things.

This eight-word poem, It's Always How You Look at It, has the correct word count and employs the cross referencing of movement to thought. What we think is true is true.

This is brilliant in all its wisdom. Exceptional!
Each individual has their own perception, and each perception is real in each person's mind and heart, and so they live out their reality in response to what they perceive as reality.
See how you so eloquently expressed in 8 words, what's taken me (wait, I'm counting) 32 words to say? (LOL)
This is truly a great contest entry :)

This is fantastic! This should be the poem with twelve votes in the contest. Your poem made me think by creating a unique metaphor that I have not heard before. Refreshing! If I had another six star rating to give out this week, I would have given it to you because you deserve it!

Your vivid, abstract painting selection drew me into your 8 Words poem. I admired your thought-provoking definition of "perception" and focus on music. Best wishes in the competition- Joan
