Hi Alicia. This is a happy poem, well illustrated with colorful tulips as well as words that depict the joy we feel at Easter and other holidays. Celebrations usually involve sweets and food--feel good things. Easter is an upbeat time celebrating a religious event, but not all celebrate it that way. For whatever reason, we find joy at Easter, it's a great experience. Marilyn

Such a fun reminder of the many beautiful distractions at Easter time! Actually, we like to microwave our Peeps for about 10-15 seconds and watch them inflate, but "microwave" would mess up the rhythm of your poem, so stick with "stretch." Nicely done!
