Dip, your review is so appreciated. Writing is so very often cathartic. I am truly humbled over your high praise. Again thank you!

Just lovely. The emotion and imagery transcends all thought, for we see what you see, and feel what you feel.
A journey through time that is both 100 years long as much a 100 seconds, for time has a way of hitting home a reality in which we are never prepared.
Once again a delicate delivery from a skilled writer that I love to bits.
Lovely to see you my dearest friend, and your poem of loss was unforced, clean as a mountain river, and as warm as the glow of any furnace.
My very best wishes.
Have a wonderful day.

OMG - This is so sad. I really wasn't expecting that ending and was going to tell you that it was as beautifully written as anything I've seen on a greeting card. Actually, if you shortened it and didn't have it end tragically, I'd say to try selling it to a greeting card company. Hugs, Lou

Jimi, you never fail to please with your wonderful insight. I too lost a child however FS wasn't around then, so I suffered in silence, which all the shrinks tell us is destructive. If we want 'closure' we bare our soul to a stranger or find a great lady poet who put it all in perspective. Thank you Jimi, Love Anne

This was a beautiful and powerful write, JLSavell. What an awesome picture you painted of the relationship between a mother and a son and how cruelly fate ended the early one. Great job.

Up until the end it seems the story of a proud mother and her memories of his growing up and what he is doing now. But the last line seems to say this is all he didn't get to do because he died as a baby.

Thanks for your commemorative writing - telling a tale that could be and yet is, to many. Jimi, you have wonderful eyes and a beautiful mind that's able to remember, imagine, and give - give us all a moment of remembrance and wonder ... and love.

Oh my Jimi,
This is so achingly relatable and deeply empathized, though loss of
mine were at older age level; and yours all the more agonizing in
grief over 'newborn bones' child loss. The passage of time does indeed
imbed all the deeper the recent memories contrasted to the later or
last ones; yet mother's heart bears through them all, with no less
love and gratitude for their precious life, however brief or short.
Your abiding love in and beyond the inevitabl sorrow is no less
all the more precious epitaph and eurlogy, and legacy of irreplaceable
devotion and abidingly tender and gently caressing memory.
Thanks for sharing again. A keepsake for sure for your loved one!
Love, blessings always, Ronni

Ronni,
Dearest friend and beautiful lady,
I know this moves you. I think of you each time I write something so very personal. Our lives greatly parallel, only on a different plane of time. Your reviews astound and humble me greatly. I am always moved by your articulate words and discerning heart. My heart, also, goes out to you.
Ronni, once again a huge thank you..
I will be in your port soon..
