A very well-written poem about an interesting occurence on your walk. An Anole shedding its skin, it looks worse than a human's bad hair day, and our skin sheds mostly invisibly.

Such a funny and cute poem from the perspective of this anole which is a new word for me. Loved it!
The poem flowed well with a nice bouncy rhythm and rhyme and loved the funny character of the anole telling the woes of shedding skin. Who knew? I sure didn't.
I also enjoyed the notes that accompanied the poem telling about the habits of the anoles during their shedding time. Fascinating. Well done!

Such a fun poem. I love how you compare the lizards skin to a facial. The picture is hilarious, so awesome.
It's really cool that you were able to share this moment with your little boy.
Recently, I did the same with my son. We were watching two lizards. One lizard had his entire mouth over the other lizards head. I think he was trying to eat it. ð?¦?
I enjoyed your poem.

Your poem is so well rhymed with a cheery bounce to it and it is a tribute to the Anole you caught on camera. I loved that you were inspired these words by seeing this little creature shed his skin, a joy to read, love Dolly x

Excellent photo and verse and must be the funniest one entered! I've never even heard of these lizards - we have skinks and blue-tongues here - but now I've learned something. A lucky find on your walk.

Wonderful wonderful work! So creative and communicates your ideas in a clear and fun way. This poem reminds me of Dr. Seuss. You rhyme so effortlessly. Great job!
