There has never been a "we" in my life ..I always chose to be alone (an island)..parents and pets apart...then my parents died and my pets died too.
Luckily people like me are in the minority otherwise the human race would seriously in trouble.
The truth is wrapped in the word "fe-male "...we are not meant to be alone ...we are two sides of the same coin.
"She is my me. I am her he ".....two bodies yet one mind ...two hearts yet one beat ..that's how it is meant to be. That was the great design of God.
Your poem is a celebration but for me it brought home a sad, harsh truth : I messed up big time in this life.
