Thank you for sharing your description of Palm Sunday in the nonet form. I appreciate learning more about you from your personal notes as well. Enjoy visiting your father in Florida and celebrating Easter together. Hugs- Joan

Happy Springtime! Thank you :)

Palm Sunday and the Easter holy days are the most solemn in Christianity and the most important. I commend you for honoring the season, even though you aren't Christian, with this well written Nonet and happy image. Marilyn

Hi Alicia,
It's interesting to read how different religions view things. I too prefer to see Christmas spelled Christmas, and not X-Mas (it almost seems sacrilegious).
Your Nonet poem is spot on with syllable count for each line, and that's a nice picture that you found to complement your Easter poem. May
peace be upon you too!
Hugs,
Connie

Interesting. My father lived in Trinidad for a few years, soon after WW2.
I like that you respect a diversity of religious belief. I wish more people did. At their core, the universal religions all have very much the same values. Their points of commonality far outweigh their differences, though some people are loathe to accept that. A very happy Easter to you! p.s. I agree with your father about Xmas/Christmas!

Hi Tony! I heard there were some Europeans that went T&T during the WW2 hiding from the chaos. There was a famous German-Trinidad & Tobago actress in Hollywood in the 1930's and people loved her. She made tourism grow to T&T. Thank you :)

Thanks for sharing this nonet from your perspective. Palm Sunday makes me think of all the suffering of Jesus before His death and resurrection. I like how you mentioned the Gospel of John and ended with Peace which is what Jesus won for us - peace with God.

I don't think most people think about his death. But that is what it was... To me, it's a renewal time. Happy Springtime! Thank you :)
