This really funny. You have good tongue-in-cheek humor. My favorite line is "Yessum. Like that. Like harrassin' and slicin'." I like that you captured the culture with the great dialect and dialogue. You remained consistent with the dialogue. Well written. I'm voting for this one.

This was an interesting and engaging conversation between two people who are related and love each other - the best sort of conversations usually come out of these types of relationships, actually. I thought you did a great job displaying this -- and the love between them.
I did see a few nits here and there, and made some notes for you:

Such a cute story. I'm a grandmother, but I hope I'm not that bad yet. Very typical of years ago. Most grandma's live in a different world today. I hope we have improved over the years. Very good story. I enjoyed it so much. Thanks for sharing it with us. Good luck in your writing.
