Thanks for the thoughtful review. Yes, I love quilts and the women in Vermont are amazing. There is a place called Shelburne museum in Vermont and they have the most amazing quilt collection. The woman that created it, was very rich and clever and collected all kinds of Americana and real buildings like a slate jail,schoolhouse,drug store even a 1950's house complete with a 57 Chevy parked in front. Weather vanes, sleighs, dolls, all set in the rolling hills, so very American. When you buy your ticket it is good for 2 days because there is so much to see. Even a huge paddle boat they rolled over from Lake Champlain.
Vermont is what America was. Cheers, judester
