Wow, lots of great imagery and hope in this poem. A beautiful garden picture too!! The picture really caught my attention! All composed into a beautiful garden much the picture in your writing with wonderful descriptions of nature and the raindrops to oceans and tears, all so refreshing to read. It created a lovely shower in our forecast as a reader of poetry; you can feel the cool raindrops and the sounds of the ocean in this garden of images. Breathtaking and fun to reread over again! I like your metaphor of the sun coming out to drink the puddles and dry the trees tears; you can really picture that and it's quite ingenious! Genuine. Best,

A very well-written Nonet poem about the refreshing feel of a beautiful garden after a sudden downpour after the sun dry the last puddle we can enjoy the scene once more.

Oh, Anonymous Poet, this is just a lovely offering... and one need not even have a pic with your words... with the meandering and the sun sipping puddles, I've already got the image in my head!! :) ;) Thanx for sharing and best of luck at the polls! ;) ;) Yvette

This was really a beautiful piece of writing. I loved the flow of it and the imagery. I think the form was perfect for your words as well. Nice job and good luck in the contest.

I enjoyed your nonet contest entry, Mystery Author. Good job on the syllable count per line. The picture is beautiful and a great choice to pair with your words. Those words tell a great little story. Thanks for sharing and best wishes. Jan

Hi Contest Author,
This is a beautiful poem with an equally lovely visual effect, and a great contest entry. Nothing for me to suggest revising. Thanks and good luck. Jan

Such a vivid voice. Only a true creative and poetic eye can capture the personification of a "sun drinking puddles."
"Dry the arbor's tears" is what got me. It suggests how the sun is a guiding light to those who are lost.
Beautiful all around. A genuine infusion of both nature and human emotions.
