A very well-written poem about the karma that comes to bite you when you least expect it. Never do to anyone the things you would not want anyone do to you, it is the safest.

Oh, how true, this is. I have seen it as well. Your 3rd stanza falls out of the rhyme scheme a bit and you might want to look it over again, my friend~Debbie

Thank you for your review and rating. I had a little trouble with that stanza, and thank you for pointing it out. I will take a look at it. Thank you for reading.

Although karma is steeped in eastern religions, mostly Indian. I believe it's really part of God's law woven into creation, and although it seems to have mystical connotations. Much like, "Give, and it will be givien unto you, pressed down, shaken together, and brimming over will be given unto your lap." Luke 6:38. But of course one can be forgiven, Christ being the absorber of all curse and death. Beautifully writtten in great thematic, rhyming work, in abab. And smoothly written, well done, blessjngs, Roy

I like the somewhat humorous but mostly sinister tone of this poem. The personification of Karma is interesting and effective. In this case, she seems more vengeful; however, I like that interpretation.

Thank you for your review and rating. I think Karma is vengeful when it delivers justice. I also believe Karma is loving when it delivers rewards for good deeds done. Thank you for reading.
Comment from Gloria ....
So true, that Karma takes its time, Sandra. Sometimes generations in fact. But your poem has a subtle hint wry irony making it a delight to read.
Most enjoyable.

Thank you for your review and rating. There are times I think when everyone would like to give Karma a hand or extra push to see justice. Thank you for reading.

You have no idea how timely this is for me. Yes, I believe in karma. I heard someone, Oprah?, say that they think Hell is reliving every negative feeling you ever gave someone. I sure hope so.

Interesting writing about karma. It is a true principle that what someone sows in life will reap some kind of harvest in their life. You don't have to worry about that. It seems the hardest part is not to try to be the one that pays them back. In other words forgive and let it go.

It's the waiting that finally gets you. But it is true, stuff comes back to get you! This is very well-written and I love the picture.
Have a great day and God bless.

LOL! :) :) I liked that you claim karma as a sister -- makes payback all that much more personal -- fun!! :) ;) It has an irregular rhythm, kinda hard to grasp and a bit 'stumbly' in places, but just the overall picture you've painted makes it enjoyable in its own rite. :) ;) Be sure to pop back in there and change "works its magic" to 'works her magic' just to be consistent. :) :) Thank you for sharing! :) :)

Which is why I do my utmost to treat others with kindness every day. I believe in Karma too but I think it goes both ways. She repays good for good too.
Great poem. No errors noted.
