Dear Author,
Outstanding contest entry and poem! I could imagine hot tea poured over ice cubes and feet resting from high heels! This well-deserved relaxation after a workday is due and enjoyed. Excellent word choice and writing!
My best, Deborah

Roll over Beethoven the anonymous poet.

A very nice poem. Just chillin' on their own. An alcoholic drink, listening to a classic Beethoven.

She should have pleaded the fifth.

Hi author. I truly enjoyed your "Even-the-odds" entry because of how you personalized the role Beethoven plays in this working mom's life. Easy to visualiize the whole scene as she kicks off the heels, pours tea into a glass with ice cubes, and lastly turns on the music. Rod

This was a good read. It also seems like it would be a perfect time at the end of a busy day. Nice and relaxing before the next inevitable storm comes along. Nice job.

-Very nice image
and presentation.
-The syllable count
and synonyms are good.
-You have a very good
poem, full of effective
imagery that creates a
vivid word picture of
relaxing after a hard day at work.
-I like the "iced tea" line, and
the ending lines, too.
-Good luck in the contest.

Hi Contest Author,

This is a super write and a great use of classical music! An everyday-type, realistic scenario. Nothing to revise here. Good luck and thanks for sharing. Jan

Your orchestra is in fine tune. Your words flow together in a coherent story.

Cute how you made your first and last line identical. But if you really want to relax, you may want to consider adding something a bit stronger to your verse. 'Cider' works for your same syllable count, but maybe that's not your preferred drink over the rocks. LOL

Here is a puzzle equal to your math lines.

Move only one of the three horizontal lines (imagine they are stacked one on top of the other - I can't create that text image here) to form an equation that is equal on both sides.

two one five zero - - - 101010

Hint: Americans may have a harder time solving this than Europeans.
