Great job on this Beethoven challenge using Yvette's Even the Odds poetic form! It's nicely shaped and gives us a deeper message about how it takes time and maturity to appreciate music and life. Love the quartet and choral part of the symphony.

Thank you for your wonderful comments and rating. I don't know which is currently most popular the Ode for Joy or Fur Elise. They have withstood the years.

I really like your poem and references to Beethoven. My husband was a classical music guy and listened to all the great composers. We used to go to the opera in NYC each year. Very special music. Good job with your contest entry. Marilyn

What a fun read - I really liked the way you created a list of joyful events/moments and tied it to Beethoven's Ode to Joy for the contest. You used the required format well. It is visually and audibly pleasing and joyful.

Yvette's form continues to bring us joy also. You did a wonderful job with this poem. Beethoven is one of my very favorite composers...his music thrills the heart and soothes the soul. Ode to Joy makes me want to dance my way to heaven!!

I think Beethoven can be liked to the first sip of champagne, you realised it is something special and it becomes moorish. Sweet words of joy here, good luck with the contest, love Dolly x

A very well-written even the odds poem and the subject of beethoven's ode to joy. At first not well-liked but it is today one of his most popular pieces for befinners to play on the piano.

Beautiful and inviting. Captivating and charming. What a nice scene you have captured with your words. I love the birthday celebration pictures you've painted with your words. A nice tribute to Beethoven in you rwriting. Well versed and flows nicely. Enjoyable! It's funny how at first maybe he was not well received as you put in your poem, then over time he was; just like in life we need to be patient and wait on things if we know inside it's of value what we produce but at first the world does not receive it. I like the images of the birthday cake and ice cream makes me hungry, lol. Lovely and lifelike descriptions. Best,
