Youth, to adulthood and then to mature life, each verse tells the story of life, the choices made, the gift of family. A lovely read Trisha ending with a very nice couplet.

cheers,
valda

A very well-written Terza Rima about the life cycle that seems to pass too quickly and we cannot seem to stay in touch with the changing time.

We worry about the small things too much! Time does go by quickly, thanks for your kind review, Sandra

A philosophical poem that follows the form of the Terza Rima perfectly. Let's hope you don't return to your cosmic space too soon!
Just a couple of suggestions
nature(')s desire
T'was ('Twas) then our full bloom [the apostrophe here is standing in place of the missing 'i' in 'it']

Wow. This is a great poem widdling down and hitting the nail on the head about the cycle of life. This is a good reminder that life is fleeting. Good luck in the contest!!

Oh, this one is cheery and so very true, Trisha ... it really works well for the message in the terza rima because, as life, it's hard to pick out the right pattern up front! ;) :) Be sure to pop back in there and remove the space between the 'A' and the 's' in your second to last line. Thanx for sharing, ma'am! ;) ;) Yvette

Think I might be happy about that... I try not to be, but I am a very visual person, and presentation really means something with a poem... :) :) :) Take care, Trisha! :)

Hi Bucket,

What a lovely write, accompanied by the perfect image! Very well written with good flow.

One nit:

"A s part of the cycle in the "

Delete space between characters in "As."

Thanks for sharing.

Jan :-)
