Dear Author,
Your unfortunate truth in springtime sun--or snowbirds in the sun--sunburn is clearly evident in your short poem! Many of us have longed for sun and did not spread it think enough or stayed out too long!

Excellent

So true. Been there, done that. As a fair-skinned person of Irish descent, my skin burns, peels, and turns fish-belly white again. This is a good warning for those who don't like sunburn (and who does?)

I have a good Irish friend with exactly the same problem. She wears a large hat and long sleeves every time she goes outside in the summer. Thanks for the read and the comment.
