Is Jack young enough to watch Peppa? She and her family are allll about jumping in muddy puddles. hahahaha! I'm glad you are still fun enough to allow things like this. That's what makes grandma's cool. Thanks!

This brings back such memories when I would walk to school to get my kids and we would find every puddle. How sweetly you write of this - and you are giving Jack such precious memories.

What a sweet poem! You use lots of good imagery and I think it flows well. I like how congruent the poem felt with the recurring image and theme of puddles. Nice job :)

Delightful and right up my alley - a week ago we had three of the little kids outside - and they found big puddles. Did not have the heart to deny them the fun of wading, even though the puddles were wide and muddy. One rule i have is when I see water, and it's safe, i wade. My last chapbook was called "Dancin' Thru' Puddles. What fun.
