Such words of wisdom here, Patricia. It's a gosh darn shame we learn these lessons as we get older. Such a beautiful photo too! Hugs, Lou

I so agree, if you show patience to them, they will be patient. My 3 year old grandson enjoys vacuuming and helping with the cleaning! He's such a cutie, I enjoyed your write Patricia, this is part of a child's education, learning how to take care of themselves, love Dolly x

Absolutely 100 percent true.
I have seen the opposite of this
so many times.
Children raised like wildflower
seeds...bloom or not.
This is wonderful advice!
Beautifully written,
Blessings...

An excellent set of parenting advice, reinforced with personnal examples and a biblical reference. You words ring true. I like the combination of prose and poetry you used here. Congrats on the eight grandchild coming soon.

This was a good read, Patricia. I agree with what you wrote. What children learn while they are young carries over into the rest of their lives. Your poem was well written. Good job.

There is nothing more important than how we raise our children. You wrote the truth but unfortunately, we are a product of our raising from people with terrible parenting skills. We all make our mistakes with our children because they don't come with an owner's manual. I think most try the best they can. You did a good job. Shirley

This post is packed full wonderful words of wisdom. It's well-written, very informative, interesting. You're so right, children are a blessing from heaven, and they learn by example, what they see, hear feel every day. Great job as always.
