Why thank you so much! This is so kind of you. I am assuming that this was your contest. I don't enter many contests but the challenge of three 5-7-5's was just too tempting. Never won anything before so this was such a bonus. Thank you again. Lynda

Well, hope to see more of your writing, ma'am -- you're welcome to stop by anytime 'round here...just come on in and make yourself at home! :) ;) Congrats again, Lynda! :) ;) Yvette

Hi Lynda... I loved the original viewpoint in this, when everyone else (myself included) was banging on about pretty pretty, you were sneezing and spluttering.

LOL! Thanks sweetie. When I saw this contest the first thing I thought of was all the green, sticky pollen crap all over my car. Plus antihistamines have been a dietary supplement for about a couple of weeks. Yes it's lovely and pretty out but I'm looking forward to breathing without sneezing my head off. Thanks. Lynda
-
So you do know how to spell antihistamines! Check sp. in your poem. I have to get dosed up too; I'm a sneezer like you.
-
I never knew how to spell this. I used this spell check right here. Got screwed by that too. LOL Thanks, I'll go check it.

Can't trust anyone or anything these days.

Hello. Author. This piece is funny as crap. I voted for it last night but didn't get a chance to review it. It's a shame how many people can't enjoy these beautiful days because of allergies. I wish the best of luck in the booth. Great piece.

Thank you! Mostly I can't stand the pollen that coats my car in green. You can't rinse it off. Gotta wash it. Pain! Anyways thanks for this review. Much appreciated!
-
Maybe you could get your guy to wash it for you, lol.

Ha! And maybe monkeys will fly out of my butt.

Haha.

Dear Author,
Great contest entry! Your trio of 5-7-5 is well written and easy to get the picture of Pollen and Allergies in Spring! Excellent clarity and I feel the same way in spring!
My best in the contest, Deborah

Hi Contest Author,
This is a great springtime trio haiku, and a great contest entry. I've lived that mess of pollen all over everything, and although it's messy, I'm sure our pollinators love it. I once watched a bee cleaning my windshield of this pollen with great efficiency. Thanks for sharing and best of luck in the competition. Jan :-)

Thank you so much, Jan, for this great review. Yes, I am never without my Kleenex and Sudefed these days. Love the bee story! I appreciate your time here. Thanks again.

Yes, welcome spring, with all the pretty flowers, but also with the bugs and the pollen. I guess we take the good with the bad. Good job on this one and good luck in the contest.

Thank you so much!! I both love and dread this season. But it's a small price to pay for the near future explosion of color. I appreciate this review. Thanks again.
