A very well-written free verse poem about what we perceive as real or just a dream differs from person to person. We are living in an era where our best friend whom we can discuss anything with is just a virtual friend on the internet, we never meet them, but we know they are always there for us in time of need.

Interesting idea in this writing. You did a great job of expressing it in a short poem. Did you really write this or did you use a virtual poet? I wonder if there is such a thing as virtual psychosis?

It was my reality which wrote it (haha) I believe there is a virtual psychosis
Since virtual means on the edge or almost. So someone could exhibit some symptoms (drug use) but not be in real defined psychosis.
Thank you very much, Bill for your review.

I enjoyed your poem, Bucketlist. Your lines flow smoothly with good rhymes, I like the color scheme and the picture choice. You give readers much to think about. Good job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Thanks, Jan. The technology is still brain initiated no matter what!

This is a really cute poem. I love the shape and also the repetitive rhythm and rhyme.
I totally agree with the quote.
I wish I had a six left for you.
Thanks so much for sharing.

Thank you very much! A virtual Six is as good as the visual one for me. The real meaning is the same!

I'm a very visual person and like the centred arrangement of your lines. For me, you've given two ways of looking at the subject of 'seeing things'. It can be a bad or a good thing. I'm not sure if that is what you intended but that's how it seems to me.

You?re correct in your assumptions. Our brains are all capable of virtual activities free thought (day dreams, dreams plans etc) and mental chemistry (nightmares, behaviors not acceptable, psychosis) the link between the two is the physical device fueled by brains in technology.
    Thanks for your kind review

This work has reached the exceptional level

Ha ha. I get your point .first one would be madness needing medicine. The virtual visions that we see are of course brilliance and are used for application
It is a unique thought and for thinking differently you have my last six.

I've often thought how we writers ...especially as in a fantasy writer for children , would be thrown in a psych ward with the key thrown away. But because we do it to entertain it's not considered nuts
God bless

I think the thing that sets creativity apart from psychosis is lucid sense. If the thought process is scrambled and ?out of it? not coherent = psychosis
Interpretations of life, are creative genius, as long as they can be rationalized .

Hi Bucket,

This is quite a contrast for sure that you point up in your well-written poem. I always wonder, ten or twenty years from now, whether negative effects from VR to the brain and eyes will be common knowledge. Thanks for sharing. Jan
