Dear Author,
This is a fun Limerick! I enjoyed your clever portrayal of stylish French Cyrus with his em'rald tux! It was bright and happy!
My best in this contest, Deborah

LOL. !!!

Turning a Bit Green

I can easily 'see' this man's tux,
tho' my tummy is suff'ring some flux.
See, I do love the green,
if you get what I mean --
but a shamrock, not romance "deluxe".

A very well-writen Duo Limerick about the Frenchman that knows exactly to get the girl he adores the most. Acting like a leprechaun he quickly wins the heart of his Irish girl.

You are the only one that saw the 'leprechaun proposal' that Cy was going for, Sandra! ;) :) Thanx for your review -- you made me smile this morning! ;) :)

Hello :)
This is a very well written double limerick - good meter and rhyme scheme with effective use of alliteration throughout. Also, fun - which is important!!
Good Luck in the voting booth :)
Best wishes, Debra

Hi Contest Author,

Ha ha ha! This is a really cute St. Patty's Day limerick and very well written. Very clever and creative story you tell in your verse. (I'd love to see him all dressed up in a green tux and top hat.) This should be a strong contender in the competition. Thanks for sharing and best of luck. Jan

This is a highly effective limerick and the reader is able to recognise the pattern and rhythm that we expect. I loved the humour of this and the imaginative story that it created. Good luck in the contest!

Thanks for sharing.

Twas not just the tux he did don...Oh no!
Top hat and white gloves accented this beau -
When he fell to one knee,
She responded with glee,

I love limericks... it is amazing that Irish with twinkling eyes write such poems
God bless

This is an excellent double stanza limerick. T'is a blessing to behold! LoL. Seriously, I loved the story and the great rhyming. Good and colorful artwork also.
I'm thinking of entering this contest too...
but nothing as good as you.
A truly great job and good luck in the contest.
