Oh how bad am I to have missed this gem on my favourite subject. Ha ha

You did a lovely job Debra. A nice flow as I could smell the tea or maybe it was the rum. Lol.

Next time you put the kettle on pour a cup for me.. I seem to get overlooked now and again.

Six stars because I assume it was black tea. ;)

I don't know how I missed this when it first appeared, but now that I've read it, I just love it! My favorite line is "liquid clout." Hahahah. I'm going to share that from now on. It's perfect.

    The promotion on this one had ended before the booth even opened and because it was a blind contest, no notification was sent out that I had posted, so not many reviewed it! Ah well!

I'm glad you told us you love tea in the notes. I would never have guessed! lol I really enjoyed your poem and it flowed along very nicely. It was also informative. I hadn't thought about putting rum in tea. :)

A very well-written Kyrielle about the need for a cup of tea that always bring an answer when we have a question. The conversation flows naturally when we share a cup of tea with a friend.

I do believe, Anonymous Poet, that you are British as Americans will ask for coffee (decaffeinated at night). This kyrielle (aka quatern) is delightful and gives us a vivid picture of the Speaker sipping tea. Loved the use of "cuppa." Your meter and use of refrain are flawless. Rod

I love this Kyrielle form that you have written. I also love tea and think it a perfect beverage choice any where. Once, at Disneyland, with sore feet and tired of chaperoning, I found the Turkish restaurant and treated myself to Turkish mint tea. Soooo... soothing. Thanks for this well written verse.

A finely written Kyrielle that has a light touch to it. I myself like tea and I personally like Sleepytime tea. Anyway, it flows smoothly and is coupled with the perfect picture. I wish you the best with this contest entry!

This poem is simple and enjoyable just like the cup of tea discussed within.
Tea can be very calming. It is a well written and rhymed kyrielle.
