We all have a special place where we can soak up the pure energy that invigorates our soul. Surrounded by living trees that give you inspiration and the critters that forage amongst the leaves; peace, perfect peace.

A very well-written Quatern about a place deep in the woods that can bring a feeling of peace to the heart and soul. Your repeating line work very well in this poem and the rhyming seems to be a very good combination.

Hi, June,
Thank you for sharing this lovely poem. I loved the repeating line and marveled how it changed from stanza to stanza, though the words remained the same. The artwork was a great compliment to the words.

Wow--I almost missed the deer in the wonderful silhouetted artwork! I enjoyed your rhymes and repeats, along with your "Jason" analogy and "treasure" metaphor. Here's to "Inspiration"! -Joan

This is a great potlatch poem, June. The quatern is one of my favorites. I always rhyme mine as you have done. Your lines flow smoothly with a special message. Communing with nature allows one's mind to focus on beauty. Yes, then new fresh ideas come to you. The picture is beautiful and a great pairing. Thanks for sharing. Jan

This is a well written quatern, June.
I love the way you slip from woods to
words and adjust the quatrain to the
action. Well done my friend.
Nice presentation.

As you intended, this is so peaceful, June. When I saw the title, I actually thought "good, this is one that I am going to enjoy." And I did. I like the simplicity of the line that you repeat. I take a walk in the woods nearby everyday. As soon as I get under the tree canopy, "calmness reigns."
This is nice, June.

I read another poem here where the same line comes 1st in the 1st verse, 2nd in the 2nd verse, etc. Is this a feature of this type of poem? It's very effective.

So glad you enjoyed my effort at writing a quatern. I've always liked this format of the repeating line moving down the stanzas. Thanks for the kind review.
