You have a very sweet way with word ..you don't get complicated just simply words that have a lot of meaning and are full of warmth.
You are a romantic at heart and though I am not I did enjoy very much your poem you wrote to this mysterious girl who lives on the other side of the ocean..
Maybe one day this person will take a dive .... or
Through the surging billows,
To who we dream of on our pillows....
she will meet you half way in her dreams.
You sound like you know this person well...
We won't need a life raft,
We won't need a boat.
Being together....
Will keep us afloat.
You place great trust in her and in your friendship. I wish you both the best.

This is an excellent poem. I love the idea of two lovers far apart both watching the tide come in. The imagery is very strong, and overall you put this poem together very well. Good job!
