First off I love the picture..it reminds me of a beautiful Egyptian queen in her regal head gear . Love it .
My interpretation of your thought provoking poem.
If we choose age ultimately is only a number ... What's important/counts is how you choose to face the ageing process.
There are old people that just don't feel nor think old. Everyone is free to be and feel as young as they "think" .
So being labeled old for these positive minded , active people is not an ugly or offensive thing cause they may be old in years but their spirit is still young , bold , ardent and vital.
Yes our planet is old too yet despite mankind's misdoings it's still full of beauty.
Sorry if I may have misinterpreted your poem ..

Hi Rhonnie, Your poem is really sweet but is water really the oldest element on Earth? Something tells me that water came along after the Earth was actually formed, the Earth itself being full of elements, I can't imagine that water is the first element on Earth. (I'm not really sciency but I'm not even sure it is an element) ;) That said... the sentiment behind it is really sweet and worthy of a 5. :)

HELLO SUSAND3022: Thank you for viewing and commenting on my poem. For your information...open your Holy Bible to the book of: GENESIS, to chapter 1. Now...view verses 1& 2. Now....open your dictionary to the entry: element. My dictionary is: The Random House College Dictionary. Element: >>definition number 2; reads like this: >> One of the substances,. esp earth, water, air, and fire. Now we both know. Thank you, my friend. You are appreciated. Cordially: rhonnie69.

Oh my word Rhonnie... I've got no idea where my mind has even gone that I actually listened to someone who was telling me that water wasn't even an element... (I know what I was thinking... I was thinking that I'm tired, and not really that science minded and that I don't know my periodic table.) But as I'm waking up now... 1:30am second wind time... my brain is turning back on... it's saying, "UM... HELLO!!! H2O... HYDROGEN... OXYGEN... ELEMENTS!!! HELLO!!!" You see, I didn't go to college all those years for nothing after all! Next time you might just ask me to knock on my head and ask myself if anybody's home... lol

HELLO SUSAND: WOW. I can tell that you already knew that. You sound like a scientist. Cordially: Rhon.

Oh geez Ricky!! I'm about as far from a scientist as one can get!!! lol Though I do know a bit of medical stuff just because of my own garbage... I suspect we all do! Aside from that though, most of science was a struggle for me... like history in school... not my fave! lol

HELLO DOLLY: Thank you for your wonderful return in your words. Dolly, you scared me. I thought that you were mad at me. And that you wasn't going to speak to me any more. Oh. I'm sooo glad that you are not mad at me, Dolly. I am, "glad," at you. If you haven't viewed it already...go to my portfolio and view: "I'M MAD AT ME TOO." Thank you. Dolly, you make me sooo happy. And by the way...I love your, "Jolly Dolly." Thank you for helping me think. Now we are beginning to think alike. As usual. You are appreciated. God bless you, Dolly. Your happy friend.
