That was a wonderful story in a poem. You must know plenty about fishing. Well thought out. Clearly written. Creative. Good alliterations sprinkled about. Nice lyrical flow. Great work. Good luck in the contest.

Good use of storytelling voice to propel the reader through the piece. It has a nice turn due to the passage of time. Old Slippery Sam comes through as a character as does the dedicated fisherman. I enjoyed reading it. Good use of rhyme.

This couldn't be sweeter, this poem. I absolutely love it! I enjoyed the story, the rhymes, and the cadence that flowed so beautifully. Even the graphic was delightful! Good luck in the contest.
