MRW,
Hopefully, you know this is way more than Witty, this is knee-slappin', leg crossing, awesome sauce! The title, the description, the photo, the words everything about this was downright HILLARIOUS!!! I loved it and I can't wait to vote for it - that is if I haven't missed the vote. You are on fire Beautiful Teacher! Cheers, Fonda

Professor Nut is obviously a very wise rodent, Anonymous Poet.
Ya never want to put all of your eggs in one basket--or, as in this case--all of your peanuts.
You just never know when you might really need 'em.
Cute poem.
Best wishes to you in the contest.

Those are wise words from Professor Nut. I like your choice of verbs for this one--"sez, munch, and (of course) squirrel." This post is charming and well crafted. Good luck in the contest. This writer sez this post should do well.

This poem is good advice for squirrels and others who live by the "nut", it has a feel of humor from the titling of the squirrel and voice. It's fun to read and see.

And this Professor Nut is so right about keeping some for later. You have penned a nice little suggestion for careful living, accompanied by the cutest of photos.

I love the play on words. We don't have squirrels in Australia but they do seem very cute little animals. Here, providing water for wildlife is more important than providing food as we don't have the extreme cold and snow that Europe does.

He he he, these eco lovers are thought to be a nuisance, but they do in fact bury may nuts and not retrieve them and are little farmers who deserve a medal, you painted a cute and fun picture of this little chap, much enjoyed, love Dolly x
