Hopefully the change is for the better for the heart is a fickle sensation that changes from light to darkness. I like your poem. This is a good entry for the 20 Syllables contest. Thank you for sharing.

A very well-written poem about the way we see things can be changed from time to time when we can see something from a different perspective to make life better.

Well done. Succinct and yet holding a value of truth in the message. It does remind me of the phrase paradigm shift. Walking in another person's shoes can certainly change not only the way we look at things, but indeed change our hearts as well. James

Very nice picture to go with your poem. Very colorful which really draws the eye to it. I agree with the premise of the poem. You did an excellent job.

    Thank you. Since the rating was four stars meaning, by definition, that the poem needed work, could you please tell me how I could improve the write for future poetry? I appreciate your help in telling me what could be changed that would have made it better.

This is a good point to make, and the colourful graphic suits the sentiment well to show how life can be brighter with 'a change of heart', due to an adjustment of perspective (often gained by standing in someone else's shoes for a while).

Great poem, 20 syllables is not very long, but you put it together very well. We all need a change of heart at some time or another! And using the hyphen in different was genius! Good job!

This was a good read, unknown poet. I think the sentiment was exactly right in the piece. The artwork also enhanced your words perfectly. Nice job and good luck in the contest.
