Just beautiful! Your artwork is so pretty and sets the tone for your write. Every stanza has grace and tells its own story of life evolving. Your poetic voice is soft, a gentle embrace of every word. I love the ending - a life lived in faith is a joyous celebration of our Lord.

Sherry sometimes my Parkinson's gets the better of me and I push the button before I'm ready so if you get more than one reply excuse me. Thank you

Honey, I am well aware of Parkinson's so do not even worry! I have rheumatoid arthritis and badly in my hands, so might type anything at all...LOL

Your well-written, thought-provoking poem effectively take the reader
through a life from the shining start, through the highs and lows--the
mistakes, to the end--ending with good advice: reflect at the end of each day in preparation for the next.

A very well-written faith poem. We cannot only accept the good things from God, we also have to deal with the bad things and trust God for everything that comes on our path.

This is a very beautiful and very well written poem you have penned my friend. I love where you said life's journey is sacred and live in faith so rest is eternal. Beautifully said my friend. So good to see you again on here! love and blessings Teri

Hello Teri,
Thank you for the lovely review. It is taking so much longer to get things done. Sorry I haven't kept in touch better. Hope all is well with you...I hear your beautiful voice often! K

Your writing contains such exquisite imagery which made reading this piece very enjoyable. My favorite line was, "Home followed...held a simple bed," because it was constructed so well but left room for interpretation as well.
The only thing I wanted more of was how you personally felt, maybe some first person? I would have loved to hear some 'I' or 'me' to elaborate on your specific experience with living faithfully.
Anyways, a beautiful piece.

Amy, I want to thank you for your kind and generous review.
Faith is a individual journey for all. I have questioned, insisted on following my own way, living selfishly, yet He didn't desert me. If I'm honest, I still have times of struggle. But I know Jesus asked this earth and was so compassionate. I have friends who were put in my life to help me become close to God. There is no recipe for faith, and it is His disciples, sinners, that helped me understand He loves me in spite of sin. I know He knows my heart. He has given me a gift and it is His name that people should remember, not mine. I have a disease called Parkinson's. Yes I have it, but I have learned I have to lean on Him. I pray each of us find Faith, and live re way He showed us. I remember I am a dinner and He forgives.
The poem was written so the reader understands it's about Him and His love.
I hope this helps.

Hi, Kathy. So good to hear from you. It has sure been a long time between posts for you, has it not? Strange how we miss members when they are gone but do not fully realize it until a new post is submitted. Thanks for sharing, my friend. X Bob

Bob, Thank you for your review. It is getting harder for me to sit for a long period, when I do, I can hardly walk. I hope you and your wife are well! Blessings to both of you.

Beautiful! I love how you described the phases of a life, from birth to the end, and how it is the blossoming of an individual's soul and the faith we depend on throughout the journey that counts. I believe the last verses are my favorite. Your poem is beautifully illustrated, too. Beautiful poem :)))
