This is excellent; the monostitch format really suits the succinct delivery, a cautionary tale about living with freedom but being prepared. I like the concept of giving your words wings... they can take you anywhere on flights of fancy. And I guess the 'flight pattern' could mean a decision about whether the words are to fit a poem or a flash fiction story or a script etc.

A very well-written Monostich about giving you words wings after you make sure you know the flight plan is safe and well planned for a safe landing elsewhere.

Thank you for taking the time to read and share your insights. We do need to make sure our words land properly without causing unnecessary damage!

This is the second very clever monostitch that I have read. I love your words and your title. If we are talking Trump, many words should not be given wings. But that is neither here nor there.
Nice job.

very nice monostitch entry with a great accompanying illustration (I try to use FanArt for my verses too)

like especially:
... words wings ...
... flight pattern first

minor suggestion: while your entry is a one-liner, FS space dictates two lines for your display, so consider starting your 2nd line with 'but make sure ... you might center both lines too!

Hi Author,

Ha ha ha

This a great monostitch and a super contest entry. Good luck!

Sound advice you impart here.

Sadly, we all know what it looks like and the resultant impact when a moron takes to twitter. :-/

Thanks for sharing,

Jan

This was a good read, unknown poet. This was sage advice and you really summed it up in a few well- selected words. Nice job and good luck in the contest.

The poet has managed to put a lot of power in this one-line poem. I like "Give your words wings. I also like the common-sense approach to "have a flight pattern first." Really good picture to emphasize the good advice. Good job.
