I have no idea how you could fix any of this Geoff, it's still an even playing field, there are lots and lots of site short poem contests, but I fail to see how they have less value to long, short forms are trick, mine are mostly longish, unless you can offer constructive alternatives, then it is just complaining, I like reading so l review all the time, I learn that way, should I review less? By the way, I reciprocate, but I have a lot to get through, nicely written In mostly abcb rhyme, Blessings, Roy

You make some interesting points. I try to reciprocate reviews I receive, where possible, and always reply to any reviews received, but I'm not on the 'poetry' side (apart from my last post, which was a protest entry to a ridiculous contest) and the serious poets don't tend to be keen on reviewing the prose. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I am new to this site, and I am finding out exactly those same things that your delightful poems expounds on. I read the scores, and felt a 4 was a good score, but I keep getting flack for my reasons. (Please note I truly want to give you 5), but if someone doesn't feel my work deserve 5 points, don't give it. Great poem..look at me rant!

Hi Ada not sure how long you have been a part of FS but any who have been in here for a time will understand UNDERLYING meanings. Check some of my other rants and raves and that could help as well.
