LOL, you've come up with a very different way of looking at Cinderella's mindset after the ball. So she was waiting for the prince? We knew she was undoubtedly disappointed. Good play on words, too-- "sole". LOL

Perhaps Cindy was truly a conniving lil' spider that just knew, from that first dance, that she had ol' Charming wrapped around her finger...and just wanted to show the rest of the town that too!! ;) ;) LOL! :) ;) You take care up there, Beautiful Lady! :) ;) Yvette :)

Great poem. This is extremely clever in its writing. It makes use of every syllable. The only suggestion I might have is changing the word "faded" to "fated". It uses the same kind of wordplay from the final line with "sole".

I enjoyed reading your fantasy poem on Cinderella. The excitement of the ball now fades away and her only hope is the handsome prince finding that the beautiful blue high heel belongs to her.
