This poem, Battery, is intriguing as the readers see a glimpse of a condition from the person herself. I can't imagine getting a flood of the bad memories all at once.

I am so glad you share this with us. This was a amazing poem so real and it happens to so many. I think you named it right too. Battery that is a good title. I liked the artwork too. Thanks for sharing.

Wow this is a powerful poem. Sad yet hopeful. I take coconut oil in my coffee everyday. It provides an alternate fuel for the brain. I'm so glad your mind is set to protect you

This is a very well written poem about the dementia medicine you have to take and the affect it has on your thinking. Medicines can do a lot of harm to us and at the same time help us. I pray it gets better for you my friend! love and blessings, Teri

Thank you for sharing this - dementia is the cruelest thing, dreaded by so many. I don't know anyone who is suffereing from it and taking medicine for it, which is why I found your words interesting and educational. I hope you're doing okay. Best Wishes, Lou

You captured my attention first from the artwork you posted One can see the pain so clearly it's a crying shame
Next those few words you wrote form your heart I pray others going through that storm realize medication does help

Having those days are scary in anyone's world take your meds like you are supposed to-to keep those foggy days at bay. Dementia is on the rise.
