This is a very moving write in memory of a FS member whom many appear to have known. With few words, in a spirit of humility, you portray him as a model and friend.

I've read a lot of tributes to Michal this week. I think it's nice that someone started this tribute book. I don't think I knew him well enough to submit to it, though he did like my disco poem. Very nice job.

-I like the image you chose, Bill.
-I appreciate your poem, as
it comes from your heart.
-It is hard to come up with
words in this difficult situation,
but I think Michael would be
glad that you have remembered him,
and would have especially liked the last two lines.
-He was a kind person and will be missed.

I really like your tribute to Michael Cahill. Good artwork choice for this theme. I especially liked the first stanza. One suggestion:
He seem(ed) the kind to help and share,

will not ever see that side,
the one who helped; the kindly guide;
but I salute as, with the tide,
he launches at the bow.
This last stanza really speaks to me, I love your words. Great job, very impressive

Good evening, Bill
This is a lovely poem, dedicated to the late, Michael Cahill.
He may have beaten you, Bill, but he would bend over backward to help any one of us improve our writing skills.
He was indeed a good man.
kind regards
tracey

Bill, This is a very nice and well written poem to add to the Multi Author Book about Michael Cahill. He was a really nice guy and seemed to be able to do a lot of things. I did not know him very well personally, but only what I heard on here. The few times I got to speak to him he was very nice and helpful. Great job my friend. I have learned we each have different things we are good at in life. Blessings, Teri

Beautiful ending, Bill. I really liked the last lines:
"but I salute as, with the tide,
he launches at the bow."
This is your second tribute to Michael and I really appreciate reading it!

A great write, Sir Bill, and the first to which I can sortof relate as I never knew Michael at all...but to see his name in the competition listings and such. Your sentiments are a perfect salute to one that obviously meant so much to others! ;) ;) Yvette
