Love those old shade trees, mostly maples around here. The more you prune them the more gnarly they grow. And yes, very much part of the homestead. Excellent poem.

Yes they where. My mind likes to drift back in time and remember how I use to play. I liked this poem. It was just good. Thanks for sharing. Keep up writing.
