This tree-hugger 5-7-5, Winter Trees, has the right set up and finds the woody plants in the city, bearing up and hoping that the spring brings new energy and that the squirrels will move out.

This is a very well written 5-7-5 poem you have penned for the Tree Hugger 5-7-5 writing prompt. You used very good descriptive words and very good imagery from the art work you chose. Blessings, Teri

This is a very good entry for the Tree Hugger 5-7-5. You used a stark contrast between snowy and spring to bring your punchline in the fact that they are waiting... existing between seasons. Well done.

Dear Anonymous Poet,
Thank you for sharing your entry in the Tree-Hugger-5-7-5 poetry contest. The artwork is the perfect compliment to your words and the poem reminds me of the dead of winter. I think we are all waiting for spring this year.
Good luck to you in the contest,
~Mustang Patty~
