Really just a wonderful poem and Michael will be missed around here for sure. He sure could be funny!... I like how you convey so much about him. Well done. :-)

He was a good friend.

Pantygynt, this is yet another beautiful tribute to our friend Michael. His sudden departure was such a shock to learn. So many words, so little time...
This thoughtful piece will make Michael happy. His leprechaun's mischievous spell definitely would have brought a smile to him. Thank you for sharing this touching and tender poem. ~DD

This sweet tribute to Mr. Cahill is very moving and well-written. Your use of
specific examples of his skills and personality traits enhances the overall
effect.

Hello Pantygynt,
An excellent tribute to Michael, sounds just like him.
I always called him Michael and he never corrected me,
though I did see instances where he told people to just call him Mikey.
I like your rhyme scheme, similar to Khayyam's AABA, except the solo is in line two
and is linked. I've used this myself, never knew it had a name, Dahquain.
I like to think of him conversing with poets and musicians of the past.
A pleasant thought.
No sixes left
Nicely done.

-I like the artwork, presentation,
and appreciate the notes.
-I like your tribute to Michael very much.
-I think he would like your poem, and be pleased
with your examples and descriptions, like
"but gentle be like fairy's spell.
His leprechaun's mischievous spell"
-I also like the "guiding light" reference.
-I did not know Michael well, but what
I did know was he was kind and
more than willing to help people,
and did everything he could
to make FS the best it could be.
-Thanks for sharing this tribute.

What can I say
I'm sorry for the friends and family for their lost
Unfortunately I don't recall exchanging words with him.
Due to my stroke my memory is not the same.
Yet from each member and friends I feel we lost a great man

A beautiful dahquain for Michael, and I know for me, he did indeed teach me to write beyond just - words on page - in my first love, the free verse.
cheers,

I know that it is so deep our love for this gentleman, that the sadness is felt in every page, in every poem, he is unforgettable. I cannot imagine how he left without us not being able to wish him what he deserved, is standing by him in time of sickness. We lost our King. Terry xoxo
