This is a nice eery story, especially for Halloween. I love your title, "Would You Believe...?" I like that you chose a librarian, and the boy digging in his pocket for his library card. The choice of artwork is especially poignant since you used an image written in Spanish, from Dreamstime. Who knows? It could happen! It reminds me of the book and movie, "The Time Traveler's Wife," because when he traveled in time, he left his clothes behind every time. Thank you for this flight of fantasy.
Take care, Jesse

    Hi Yvette
I can tell you had fun writing this. It was enjoyable to read. I recommend the book. It's a great read, especially if you like time travel themes as I do. Enjoy your week ahead, as well!

Watched the Kevin Bacon movie and read Shadow and The Flash" by London...a curious idea, invisibility. Excellent flash fiction. Tricks imminent, for sure...

I seldom award one of the measly sixes we are allotted to a short write, whether it's poetry or a short, short, but I am SO TEMPTED to slap one on this brilliant little gem! Instead, I'll save it because I know how prolific you are, and I'm waiting for more of the book you're writing.I hope you understand. WE GET SO FEW, and I follow so many wonderful writers! But this is STELLAR DRIBBLE-WRITING!!!

This dribble, Would You Believe, meets the limited word challenge and finds that the Invisible boy was the original streaker.

It really was the Invisible boy!
Holy smokes, Yvette.
It just goes to show ya, you never know who (or what) you might run into on Halloween Night!
Good shortie.
Best of luck to you in the contest.

You mean to say she didn't see right through him, Yvette? Will wonders never cease. Two things to think about. 1. Was he the invisible man or 2. did the guy go streaking on Halloween. :) This is a good entry for the Dribble Flash Fiction contest.

That was great! I loved the last line, who'd have believed it had he not left his clothes neatly folded on the library step! LOL, what a surprise for the librarian. Well done, Yvette, this is a wonderful dribble fiction story. Good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx
