Thanks, our snowfall is less than it was last week. Will still attend weekly Wednesday meeting of retirees for noontime confab. "Neither rain, or snow ..." well rarely, if ever, do we not have this tavern luncheon meeting: attendance is 3-15 (normally 6-8) persons (wives occasionally join us to add some 'sex' to our table)
Hopefully you sent your message to any mid-West friends - it is much colder there.
Pleased as punch that you can relate to this verse.
Scrounging for my review shekels to enter recent FS contests. I would prefer getting noticed without this method, but que sera, sera.

My "forecast" was based only on the picture accompanying your poem. The most they expect, if anything, in NYC is a couple of inches but, right now, we've got beautiful (if frigid) blue skies.

OK, to be honest, my car on the driveway this a.m. was snow-covered akin that photo, but with no branch overhang. It is crystal clear now.

Yes, but were there any bars? (After shoveling snow, I figured you might need a drink. Hey, if you had that kind of bar available to you in your poem, you might have forgotten about your c cell phone altogether).

Interesting poem entry...Oh noooo...many people who live in cold weather areas can relate. No one wants to be in that situation. Great picture with some fun fresh snow... Best of luck with your writing piece.

We were supposed to get more snow in the Texas Panhandle, than we have so far, or we'd have the same scene. Look forward to reading more of your work.
