Dolphins are playful just like the children who love them. I do believe dolphins "smile" when they see children waving. Nicely done. Rod

Thank you for sharing. I took my children to the Tennessee Aquarium in Chatanooga and was disappointed that they didn't seem as interested as I hoped. My 4-year-old son wanted to run through all the exhibits, and my 11-year-old daughter was too old to recapture the fascination she once held for marine life. Anyway, your poem has the correct number of syllables according to this contest criteria. Good luck with your contest entry!

Too bad your children didn't seem to enjoy the aquarium. Maybe reading a couple of stories before hand might have peaked their curiosity. Anyway, thanks for the read and the comments.
