Oh yes, there is not a more beautiful and awe-inspiring sight than a staryy night , complete with a full Moon. It touches the soul and humbles we insignificant inhabitants of earth. Your lovely abcb rhymed quatrains described it well.

The thing that strikes me is when clouds gather round a full moon, funny things happen shadows in subdued light. Beautifully written Shirley, excellently smooth, great imagery in the narrative, tetrametric quatrains, great rhyming, deft and skilfully crafted, well done, blessings, Roy

Very nice poem that has been thoughtfully put together. Great job. When In was young i spent many nights out in our yard looking up at the moon and stars. I felt so many of the same emotions then as your poem emotion evoked!
