This is great! So funny, it took me a while to stop laughing before I could do a word count. I counted 49 words. (Writing prompt says exactly 50?) The photo is fabulous! Tooky has a winter top hat for sure. Enjoyed!

Well, this one certainly fits the bill in regard to the competition criteria. It certainly features an animal predominantly, although the predominant hairstyle may not be to Granny's liking... lol

Oh, poor Tooky! Weren't you sweet to let him practice though! Nice beginning, middle, and end for such a short story! I don't know if I could write a story using fifty words - you're a pro!

This is a very good write for the 50 Word Flash contest. I loved the subject of Grandma doing anything to help her grandson, and now, the dog looks really hip in that Mohawk. Good luck.
