Your words are well-fit into the tune here -- great job...even including the parts where there is to an 'echo'. I would suggest, perhaps, for those unfamiliar with the departed Prince's unique style and lyrics, you include a link to the music for them to play while they read through your words here. :) ;) Thanx for sharing! :)

Good

I have a hard time imagining this to the tune When Doves Cry. I think part of it is my paradigm is songs rhyme and parodies are funny. Which parodies are supposed to imitate a song to a comic effect, this doesn't. Its a free verse poem. Good luck in the contest.
